However, a significant challenge emerged as customers regularly sought maintenance and control services for their power plants, indicating a gap in the market. To address this need and provide a comprehensive solution, Siemens Energy decided to launch a B2B services marketplace through partnership with SCND. This new platform aimed to streamline access to essential maintenance and control services, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of power plants while meeting the evolving demands of their customers.

‍Siemens Energy, in partnership with the SCND Service Marketplace Platform, launched a B2B services marketplace to streamline the maintenance and control services required by their customers. The marketplace, featuring a native Request for Proposal (RFP) capability, also allows engineering services companies to respond and bid to tenders posted by each power plant. This solution enhances high quality service delivery, ensuring that power plants receive the necessary support for optimal operation.
