Intersport is a global leader in the sale and distribution of sporting goods. SCND partnered with Cocolabs and Mangopay to create SPEX, a services marketplace for Intersport Germany.

Challenge
Intersport Germany wanted to transition from a purely product-focused retail model to one that encompasses the entire sports experience for their customers. The goal was to offer coaching services alongside product sales, thus supporting customers in the effective use of their products while helping them develop their sporting skills through professional guidance.

The SCND-powered SPEX platform enables Intersport Germany to create additional points of contact with their community, diversify their offerings by integrating service sales, and drive cross-selling opportunities. Customers can book and pay for a variety of sporting experiences online, from yoga classes to water-skiing sessions, with options for in-person or video participation.
